A Journey from Puerto Rico to Cincinnati
Vanessa was born and raised in Puerto Rico before moving to the United States 16 years ago. For the past decade, she has called Cincinnati, OH, her home. Her bilingual abilities allow us to offer our services to Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the same high-quality photography experience.
Passion for Creativity and Versatility
Vanessa’s favorite sessions are weddings and engagements. She thrives in creative environments, bringing a fresh and artistic perspective to every shoot. She has a particular fondness for using Nikon cameras, and her go-to lenses are the 24-70mm and the 70-200mm. These lenses provide the versatility needed to capture stunning shots from various angles during weddings. The 24-70mm lens is perfect for receptions, while the 70-200mm lens allows Vanessa to move around and capture different perspectives, complementing Kristina’s (our Founding and Chief Photographer) main shots. Vanessa also loves her 85mm lens for its ability to take beautiful portraits.
A Super Power of Multi-Tasking
Vanessa's superpower is her ability to multi-task. She excels not only at capturing creative, candid shots but also at helping our lead photographers ensure the day runs smoothly. Her ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep everything on track is invaluable, especially during busy wedding days.
A Long-Standing Partnership
Vanessa has been working with Kristina for around 6-7 years, and their relationship goes back almost a decade. Interestingly, Vanessa was Kristina’s former personal trainer, and her daughter, Khaleesi, was one of Kristina’s first models when she started her business. Over the years, Kristina has mentored Vanessa, sharing her knowledge and expertise. Together, they form a cohesive team, capturing the best memories for our clients during both weddings and family shoots.
